If you are on twitter and check on your timeline chances are that you will see a twitter avi from a follower or two having a yellow in it with a bold text written ZOOM. Well let’s assume that it has not occurred to you that Nokia is back at the stage with a new product announcement.
The new device is expectedly the Lumia 1020 with a huge sensor, a 41 MP camera. Images like these have previously flooded the web and it’s widely expected that Nokia wants to show it’s might in camera phone imaging. Previously Nokia showcased this huge camera capabilities on the embers of the dying Symbian platform, the Nokia 808 Pureview. They added pureview technology though on a smaller scale in the Lumia 920. There were details like the lack of support for such huge levels of imaging on the Windows Platform. Well this has come of age and now Nokia will be seeing the bulge on the Windows phone.
These images teased earlier on the Nokia conversations blog try to show the huge capability to zoom in the Lumia 1020 to be announced later today. Imaging freaks, pay attention!
