Google is baking Chrome OS Into Windows 8

There has been a raft of changes that Google has been making to Chrome of late. Some of those include a brand new app launcher for quickly accessing apps that you have installed from the Chrome webstore and your usual suite of Google apps like the Chrome browser, YouTube and the like. At least that is what I got from the last update. Since I am still stuck on good old Windows 7, I did not know of the goodies that await those who are on the other side; using Windows 8. The integration is even much deeper and there’s not only an app launcher but much more including the desired Microsoft Modern UI (formely Metro) and much of what is already offered on Chromebooks running Chrome OS.
