iPhone 6 is expected to get announced on the 9th of September, invites are already in. Leaks and rumours have already circulated in the web with images and renders of the next iPhone, including specs sheets and features prediction. So what we have here is not new.
Richard Lai, Engadget Chinese editor just tweeted some photos that come close to what has been predicted to be the new iPhone 6 design. You know, out with the meta frame with chamfered edges and in with the HTC One M8 design of rounded metal from the back to the sides.
The image doesn’t have an Apple logo as we are used to so it could either be a deep end fake, or a prototype that he’s laid his hands on. Asked where he got it from by Ravi of CNN he just blurted out a short answer, “at a bar”. Nothing much has come out from him.
I am sure we will have much more details of this and maybe he is somewhere huddled at a computer getting something published. Meanwhile, see the photos that Richard shared on twitter. (click any photo to preview gallery in full screen).
