That ridiculously large Samsung tablet that we got a sneak peek of not long ago actually exists and has just been announced by Samsung moments ago.
Named the Galaxy View, the tablet, as expected, rocks an 18.4 inch full HD display, a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor, a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera, 2 GB RAM, 32/64 GB internal storage (expandable via microSD), a pair of high quality stereo speakers, a 5,700 mAh battery that Samsung says should last at least 8 hours on constant video playback as well as support for Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy and the a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi standard. For those that will get the cellular version of the tablet, there will also be a nano-SIM card slot for them to stream content over 4G LTE networks. The Galaxy View arrives running on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Galaxy View tablet is being pushed as an entertainment device where users get to stream or play videos as well as get other things done. As such, it comes with a kickstand to make handling easier.
