It’s a new year and everyone is making their intentions for 2016 known. Not to be left behind, Chinese device maker Oppo is promising a renewed focus on its mid-range smartphone lineup by not just releasing new smartphones but having them pack outstanding features as well. Top on the list is the camera.
Oppo is promising to release mid-range smartphones with the cameras to beat. This, the company asserts, is as a result of increased consumer interest on the camera besides anything else on the smartphone. While there is no shortage of really good cameras on smartphones at the moment, almost all of them are only available on high-end smartphones that cost an arm and a leg and way beyond the reach of many. As such there is need for a great camera on very budget devices in the market. Oppo believes it is able to do this with its upcoming mid-range smartphone lineup, the F-Series.
The first of the F-series smartphones is the F1 which is expected to be announced later this month.
We can’t wait to see what the folks at Oppo have been working on. They’ll need to unseat the 2016 Galaxy A smartphones from Samsung first though.
