Last week we saw the 2016 edition of the Galaxy J5, one of two mid-range Samsung smartphones expected to be released soon. The same sources now have the remainder of the surprise package. Images of the Galaxy J7, the superior of the two devices, have also surfaced.
As per the images and information accompanying them, the Galaxy J7 is expected to pack a 5.5-inch HD display and not get an upgrade to full HD as we had initially heard (and expected). It will also ship with the new Exynos 7870 chip which Samsung only unveiled recently. Android Marshmallow is also expected on board.
The devices will also see an upgrade from the all-plastic build of last year’s models to the inclusion of a metal frame.
Both devices are expected to be made official soon with China likely to be one of the first markets to get them.
