It is no secret that Samsung will soon be unveiling the successor to last year’s Galaxy J devices, J5 and J7. We have heard a lot about them lately. One of the things we have heard is that besides those updated specifications, the two devices will also have some facelift design-wise. That will be in the form of a metal frame instead of the all-plastic build of last year’s models. New images revealed by German technology blog WinFuture seem to confirm the same.
The Galaxy J5 is expected to pack a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 410 processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. We’ve recently heard that the J5 and the J7 may pack 13-megapixel cameras with laser auto-focus coupled with 5-megapixel shooters on the front.
It is not yet known when we’ll get to see the Galaxy J5 or its larger sibling but if last year’s timing is anything to go by then we may be at least two months away from seeing them.
