Just like the Galaxy J7, the Galaxy J5 is also on course to get an update. In fact, we have known about that for a while now. The 2016 edition of the device has hit benchmark app GFXBench’s site as well intimating an imminent launch.

How different will the 2016 edition be from what we have in the market at the moment? Not much. The display grows slightly to 5.2-inches while the RAM gets a boost to 2 GB. A 12-megapixel camera at the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front for the selfie gang, NFC and the same processor (Snapdragon 410) are the other specifications. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and NFC are also in.
