The Nairobi Startup Weekend Story

Startup Weekend has been running in Nairobi for the past 4 years and we are excited at the impact so far. Be a part of this success story and attend and meet your next co-founder or find your niche.

They met at the very first Startup weekend held in Nairobi and as they say the rest is history. The duo amongst others met and hacked their brains during the weekend long event – thereafter identified their strengths and are now building the coolest solution this side of the Sahara :-).

They are building OkHi – OkHi is unlocking commerce through enhanced logistics, saving lives through improved emergency services and growing access to finance through better personal identification. They are also hiring!

Jean Wandimi

She attended Nairobi’s 2nd edition armed with passion and creativity. A go-getter by nature and curiosity to learn new skills. She now boasts a growing clientele base and growing.

She’s running Attisfire – an agency passionate about what they do providing a great service to small and medium businesses. They focus on Creativity & Innovation and create campaigns and strategies that generate leads.
