Facebook‘s most popular platforms, Facebook and Instagram went down last evening and the memes that followed took centre stage. Facebook’s family of apps experienced outages and the social media giant assured users that they were working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.

This was one was a jab at how Facebook influences elections such as having policies that allow politicians to post ads that spread disinformation even after they’ve been fact-checked. Mark Zuckerberg insisted that his platform won’t ban ads even after Twitter did it.
