Instagram has been testing a couple of features with insiders and quickly rolling them out globally.
Some of the features being tested don’t become available to the public.
The Facebook-owned giant photo and video sharing platform has recently begun testing uploading your Livestreams to IGTV and account memorialization.
Here are some of the new features that will be coming soon to the social network as seen by developer Alessandro Paluzzi.
Instagram is testing integrating Messenger Rooms. The video chat feature was Facebook’s alternative to Zoom. Facebook is also working on integrating Messenger Rooms to WhatsApp.

Instagram is working on pre-live titles. THis feature will allow people who want to go live a textual preview so your audience knows the context of your Live and what’s expect.
This feature will come in handy as live streaming on the app has seen a meteoric rise in the past few months with over 800 million users engaging on it daily.

This is to curb the spread of misinformation on the platform.
With this feature too, you’ll soon be able to know if your message has been forwarded or seen.

Business accounts will also be able to have the insights button right on their profile page for easy and quick access.
