Showmax Has a Deal for DStv Customers: How to Add It To Your DStv Bill

The service, which is owned by MultiChoice, has been serving customers for an extended period, and has seen some improvements with even more content in the name of Showmax Pro.

Any customer can hop in the Showmax bandwagon because sign up does not need a person to have a DStv. Still, there are special deals for DStv subscribers in Kenya.

Those who have a DStv Premium subscription can add Showmax (not Pro) to their DStv at no extra cost. This means the customer can get access to additional TV shows and films to watch without paying anything on top of their DStv bill.

Customers who have Compact Plus, Compact, Family or Access can get 50% off Showmax (again, not Pro) if they choose to add it to their overall bill.

The deal is key because customer can watch more without paying another (or more money) bill for the streaming platform.

How to add Showmax to DStv bill from the My DStv app

1. Download the My DStv app (iOS or Android)
2. Select ‘Showmax on Us’, followed by ‘Activate Now’.
3. Start watching.

How to add Showmax to your DStv bill from your desktop

For DStv Premium customer

1. Go to www.DStvAfrica.com and log in.
2. Locate the Showmax banner on your account dashboard.
3. Click ‘Activate’.
4. You’ll be prompted to create a Showmax account – click Create Account. If you already have a Showmax account, just sign in and start watching.

For DStv Compact Plus, Compact, Family or Access customers:

1. Go to www.DStvAfrica.com and log in.

2. Locate the 50% Off Showmax banner on your account dashboard.
3. Click ‘Activate’.
4. You’ll be asked to add Showmax for 50% off – click ‘Add to bill’.
5. Then you’ll be redirected to the Eazy Self Service payment portal.
6. Under Select payment option, choose ‘Once off payment’ to top up your DStv account with the balance of this month’s Showmax subscription.
7. Enter your bank card details and click ‘Save and Pay’.
8. Once payment is successful, select ‘Activate Account’ to start watching Showmax.

After activating Showmax on the DStv Africa site, you will then be redirected to the Showmax website for sign in.

Lastly, there are no special promotions from DStv customers for Showmax Pro at the moment (the Pro mainly has live sports streaming and news – and with DStv, do you really need them?).
