Perennial Safaricom Maintenance Exercise to Make An Appearance Tonight

0

It would not be normal if the week elapsed without any kind of announcement from leading carrier, Safaricom.

Today’s word from the operator is nothing new because for weeks, Safaricom has been on a path to fix its services, but the activity is taking forever to complete.

Perhaps, this is the longest maintenance period we have seen so far in recent history.

Previously, the operator would hardly touch its services, and when it did, they did not take an extended period to complete.

The following services will not be available for the better part of the night: Safaricom Cloud, Lipa na MPesa, MShwari, KCB MPesa, mySafaricom App, MPesa Daraja API, Mobile banking, VAS, and the carrier’s Facebook and Twitter customer care correspondence.

The interruption starts from 11 PM today (Sept 19) to 3 AM the following morning.

All ther M-PESA services not mentioned above will be available.

Ordinary services such as calls, data, and SMS will run just fine too.
