Asus is one of the well known laptop brands and they have put out a number of cool products over the past year. This has led to Laptop Mag crowning them as the best laptop brand for 2020.
According to the publication, Asus was top with 88/100, ahead of Dell (85/100) and HP (82/100). They moved one place up from last year to take the lead this year.
” After years of pushing innovative and risky features packed in the most glorious designs we’ve seen, it all finally paid off. The company practically willed products with dual-screen displays and super powerful detachable gaming machines into existence,” they said.
Asus score was totaled from various categories. They got 36/40 from reviews, 15/15 for designs, 13/20 for support and warranty, 10/10 for innovation and 14/15 for value and selection. They earned a 5 star Editors Choice rating by the publication for the ROG Zephyrus G14 which we reviewed some time back.
They also loved their “killer innovation” with their dual screen display laptops and cool gaming machines like the Asus ROG mothership. They loved their design that they don’t see in other competitors.
We have been fortunate to use a number of Asus laptops over the past year and we generally love them. We started with the Asus Zenbook Pro Duo which was the first laptop we saw with a dual 4K screens for maximum productivity. They also had the Zenbook Pro with the screen on the touchpad that I loved. They also had the UX433 that was a fantastic yet tiny Asus laptop that has great battery life and looked great. We also featured the Zephyrus G14 with its powerful AMD CPU and it is a great gaming laptop for the size. I recently reviewed the Zephyrus Pro Duo and loved its design and performance.
