TECNO Camon 16s

Late last year, TECNO launched the TECNO Camon 16 series that included the Camon 16 Premier, Camon 16 Pro and Camon 16s.

The smartphone company is now gearing up to launch TECNO Camon 17 series.

TECNO Camon 17 Pro Camera Review: Big Step Forward

The TECNO Camon 16 series were incredible smartphones and the TECNO Camon 17 series offer even better upgrades and here’s what we know so far:

The TECNO Camon 17 will feature a punch-hole display. We hope it’s going to be an AMOLED display but fingers crossed. What we know is that it will be a 6.8″ FHD+ with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The TECNO Camon 17 will be run by MediaTek Helio G95 processor together with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

For the first time, TECNO will launch a new phone running Google’s latest mobile OS. The TECNO Camon 17 will ship with Android 11 straight out of the box. We also expect HiOS 7, TECNO’s UI to come with with the phone.

Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery. TECNO Camon 17 will also feature 18W fast charging, hopefully via a USB-C charging port.

We also see a headphone jack.

TECNO Camon 17 will feature a 48MP centered punch-hole selfie camera

We expect a quad camera rear setup – probably a 64MP main camera with three complimentary cameras. We should see a side-mounted fingerprint sensor or an in-display one.

We expect a launch later this month.
