Euro 2020 is finally here, and if you have been keeping tabs on the site, then you should be aware that there are many ways you can watch the matches that will last for a month.

MultiChoice has done a good job in planning for the event because customers can now access the matches from three of its broadcast platforms: DStv, GOtv and Showmax Pro. The latter is available for those with internet because it is more of a streaming service than the other two.

With this in mind, here is what you will get based on what platform you are going to pick, or already has.

Showmax Pro

The Pro version of Showmax is equipped with live events, news broadcasts and sports channels from leading leagues.

In this case, Pro will air Euro 2020, and customers will be able to enjoy all the 51 matches.

Showmax Pro costs KES 2100. The mobile-only subscription is cheaper at KES 1050.

GOtv and DStv (Euro 2020 and Olympics)

MultiChoice, will give DStv and GOtv viewers access to all the 51 matches of the Euro 2020 competition.

For Euro 2020, GOtv customers will watch the games on SuperSport Euro Channel on channel 32 availably only o GOtv Max (KES 1300).

It has also prepared 12 dedicated channels for the Olympics for DStv customers and 4 channels for GOtv users.

The platform will air 339 gold medal events with the Grandstand channel on DStv carrying the best events at any given time. All 8 channels will also be available to stream on The DStv app.

GOtv customers will also have four Olympics channels – 2 on GOtv Max (KES 1300 per month), 1 on GOtv Plus (KES 750 per month) and 1 on the GOtv Value package (KES 500 per month).

On DStv, Channel 224 will air the EURO 2020 and will be available from Premium (KES 7900) to Family (KES 1380) packages. This means that others such as Compact (KES 2650) and Compact Plus (KES 4800) will air the event. The Access package, unfortunately, will not.

It should be noted that that 2020 Summer Olympics, officially the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, and also known as Tokyo 2020 is scheduled to be held from 23 July to 8 August 2021 in Tokyo, Japan.
