Infinix Note 10, Note 10 Pro Officially Launched in Kenya

Infinix Note 10 Launch

Infinix Note 10 Pro has finally been launched in Kenya. Infinix has been teasing their latest smartphone in the Note series since Sauti Sol became their new brand ambassadors early this month.

The launch event was held at Ali Barbour’s Cave Restaurant in Diani was hosted by Ali Mandhry(chefalimandhry) and Catherine Kamau -Karanja(kate_actress) together with a YouTube Livestream.

Infinix Note 10 series succeed the Note 8 and Note 7 series from last year and brings with it new and much-needed upgrades.

“We know today’s smartphone enthusiasts want a device that balances style with the latest innovative technology for a truly immersive experience,” said Mike Zhang, Brand Manager at Infinix Kenya.

“The NOTE 10 series perfectly balances functionality; aesthetics, style, innovation, texture and colour functionality, to create the ideal, all-around device for professionals, entertainment lovers and everyday users alike.”

Starting from the display, Infinix tossed in 90hz refresh rate to its display. We now have a 6.95″ LCD screen with 1080p resolution, 500 nits of peak brightness and 1500:1 color contrast ratio for sharp, crystal clear visuals.

Infinix calls it the Super Fluid Display.

Graphics and images seamlessness glide due to the 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, which is perfect for watching movies, scrolling content or gaming. Certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light, users will enjoy hours of use without suffering from eye fatigue and discomfort.

Keeping things running smoothly is MediaTek Helio G95 chipset together with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

Paired with MediaTek’s Hyper Engine Gaming Technology, users benefit from 50% faster response times, stronger connectivity and low latency reduction by utilizing two Wi-Fi bands or routers at the same
time.

MediaTek Helio G95 gaming processor for NOTE 10 Pro and NOTE 10 Pre NFC, comprises:

An octa-core central processing unit (CPU) with two powerful Arm Cortex-A76 processors cores clocked up to 2.05GHz, plus six Cortex-A55 efficiency-focused processors.


An Arm Mali-G76 MC4 graphics processing unit (GPU) with speeds that boost to 900MHz and memory storage of 256 GB and 8GB RAM for the NFC variant.

Infinix Note 10 has MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with different RAM and storage configurations beginning at 4GB RAM or 6GB RAM with either 64GB or 128GB onboard storage options.

MediaTek Helio G85 gaming processor for the NOTE 10 has a 64-bit octa-core processor with two performance core ARM Cortex-A75 and six power-efficient core Cortex-A55 CPUs clocked at 2.0GHz and 1.8GHz respectively.

Infinix Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro NFC have UFS 2.2 Storage Technology and delivers a maximum transfer of 5,830 Mb/s for reading and writing, improving the speed and multitasking capabilities for users.

Infinix Note 10 Pro features the lastest software – Android 11 and XOS 7.6.

XOS 7.6 brings with it features like App Lock, XClone, XProof that obscure the screen when using the phone in public, Game Zone, Sound localization, DTS audio processing, Dar-Link Ultimate Game Booster and Thunder Back Mode 2.0 to easily switch from one app to another.

Infinix’s Dar-link Ultimate Game Booster optimization engine software, which works with the smartphone’s hardware to improve graphic image stability and screen sensitivity.

The software intelligently adjusts the operating speed of the CPUs and GPUs and allocates resources to improve images and movements in different gaming scenarios.

A gigantic 5000mAh battery keeps the lights on in the Infinix Note 10 Pro. We also get a Type-C charging port and 33W fast wired charging.

It will take you 37 minutes to charge from empty to 53% and an hour and 13 minutes to 90%.

The entry level Infinix Note 10 has the same battery but with 18W fast wired charging.

The batteries are integrated with Ultra Power Mode, providing an extra 58 hours of calling time when the battery reaches 5% capacity, 25% of battery backup with the Power Marathon Technology and safe fast-charge technology.

For optics, Infinix Note 10 Pro rocks a 64MP quad camera which also includes an 8MP ultrawide[120° field of view], 2MP depth and 2MP monochrome.

Infinix Note 10 has a 48MP triple camera setup what the company calls “48MP Ultra Night Camera”

Complementing the main camera is two additional cameras – a 2MP depth camera and a macro lens.

Infinix Note 10 Series feature 16MP selfie camera with two front-facing LED flashes.

The NOTE 10 series also offers 4K resolution shooting capabilities in both the front and rear cameras using leading video-enhancement algorithms from Imint’s Vidhance Video Stabilization solution and auto-blur video shooting.


Now, users can capture their breathtaking moments with confidence.

Both phones in the Note 10 series rock a side-mounted fingerprint reader and quick face unlock.

Infinix Note 10 series has dual speakers to offer stereo sound, AI noise reduction sound technology, DTS audio processing and sound localization to provide a surround sound quality with support for high-frequency game scenes.

The iF Design 2021 award winning NOTE 10 Pro delivers a balance between the physical and virtual worlds, the calmness and serenity of Mother Nature and the modern geometric interiors and décor designs of luxury brands.

The back panel is uniquely divided into two sections with the bottom half completely textured in juxtaposition with the glossy top.

Infinix Note 10 comes in various colours including Emerald Green, 7° Purple, and 95° Black.

Infinix Note 10 Pro comes in Nordic Secret colour, 7° Purple, and 95° Black.

Pricing and Availability

Infinix Note 10 and Note 10 Pro will be available online and in Infinix retails stores countrywide[Full list here]

The two smartphones are also available on XPark – Infinix’s e-commerce site too.

The Infinix Note 10 starts selling from Ksh 17,599 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option and Ksh 19,299 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage option.

Infinix Note 10 Pro starts at Ksh 25,999.

Infinix added free 180 days of screen replacement for the Note 10 series.

The series will be available starting next week and include variations based on customer and market demands. Prices may vary shop to shop.
