Right after launching the OPPO Reno6 series this year, leaks have already started regarding features on its successor – the OPPO Reno7 series.

Digital Chat Station has shared that the OPPO Reno7 will stick with the same design as the OPPO Reno6 including the metal frame and the top left corner punch-hole that accommodates the selfie camera.

It will also have a triple camera setup at the back.

The camera setup also changes as OPPO drops its usual sensor – the smaller 1/2″ 64MP OmniVision OV64B main sensor for a larger 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony IMX766 camera sensor.

It is expected that this choice will help improve OPPO Reno7’s camera performance together with the current and prospective software features OPPO already has in its sleeves.

OPPO Reno7 may launch early next year to compete with other premium midrange smartphones in this segment.
