TECNO Phantom X2 Cameras

TECNO Phantom X2 Cameras

TECNO has unveiled the Phantom X2 today and it will be the company’s most powerful smartphone. This is the successor to the original Phantom X launched early last year.

The Phantom X was the company’s entry into the premium flagship smartphone market and TECNO is upping its game with this year’s Phantom X2 which will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 5G chipset.

Phantom X2 is shipping with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 5G processor. This could bring huge improvements in terms of performance as it’s the chipset maker’s premium processor.

Phantom X2 will have a slightly curved Super AMOLED display rocking a 120Hz refresh rate. This time we’ll see a centred punch-hole camera instead of a pin-shaped one from its predecessor that hosted two cameras.

TECNO switched to a 32MP front-facing camera.

Battery capacity was increased to 5160mAh with the charging speeds jumping to 45W or 65W.

Phantom X2 ships with Android 12 and HiOS 12 with the likelihood of upgrading to Android 13 later in the year just like the Camon 19 Pro 5G.

TECNO’s 5G Phone Brings Android 13 Ahead of the Pack

With the bump in specs, we expect a similar bump in price too just like its predecessor.
