OPPO Find N2 Flip

The clamshell foldable market in Kenya now has a new entry from OPPO – the Find N2 Flip.

Find N2 Flip brings new improvements to the market including not having a crease on its display and the phone completely closes when folded leaving no gap. It’s worth noting that every other smartphone maker except Samsung have a gapless space when folded.

OPPO goes big with its screens. We have a 6.8 inch inner display and a 3.26 inch cover display. The Z Flip4 has a 6.7 inch inner display and a 1.9 inch cover display.

The inner display is an LTPO AMOLED panel with 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and brightness peaking at 1600 nits.

The cover display is AMOLED too with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is a 720p screen with brightness peaking at 900 nits.

OPPO went with what they call a New Generation Flexion Hinge that can flex either a 110 degree angle or 45 degree angle to take flexform selfies.

The hinge doesn’t give the screen crease so you’ll enjoy using the phone. The phone unfolds completely flat when opened. The Find N2 Flip hinge has been tested with over 400,000 folds.

The sides are polished aluminum and there’s stereo speaker setup as well. The sides has the power button which has an embedded fingerprint reader.

MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000+ 5G chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It runs on ColorOS 13 and Android 13.

For optics we get a dual rear setup which comprises of a 50MP wide and 8MP ultrawide. Video is capped at 4K 30fps.

The inner camera is a 32MP selfie camera that caps video recording at 1080p 30fps.

Keeping the lights on is a 4300mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

OPPO Find N2 Flip comes in two colours – Astral Black and Moonlit Purple.

Pricing starts at Ksh 129,999 at select OPPO retail stores. There’s financing and trade in programs OPPO has put in place.

Samsung already has its Galaxy Z Flip4 in the market and we’re expecting its successor, the Z Flip5 very soon. TECNO is also planning to bring its flip in the country later this year.
