Safaricom is experiencing data connectivity issues on its network. For most of the day Sunday, users were reporting problems when trying to get online.

Safaricom stated the current network challenge was affecting data. In addition, the telco stated they were looking into the matter. Additionally, the twitter response urged consumers to bear with the situation.
However, the telco did not state the cause of the data connectivity challenges they were facing.
A source from Safaricom notified Techweez the issue was resolved on Sunday evening. However, they did not state what caused the connectivity issues during the day.
