Raspberry Pi 5 Kenyan Resellers

Liquid Intelligent Technologies Kenya is officially an authorized reseller of Raspberry Pi 5. The Raspberry Pi 5 is the latest in the series of Raspberry Pi and comes after the Pi 4 launched in 2019.

Raspberry Pi computers are tiny, affordable single board computers that people use for various things. Some use it to teach kids how to code while some developers use it for their DIY creations.

There is good news for the Raspberry Pi community, the new model promises to be even better. The Pi 5 is 2 to 3 times faster than the previous generation.

It has a  Broadcom CPU with four 2.4GHz Cortex A76 cores. This is a big upgrade from the Pi 4 which had a  Broadcom CPU with four 1.5GHz Cortex A72 cores.

The RAM has also been upgraded, now you have a choice of a 4 GB or an 8 GB RAM device. The Pi 4 had 3 RAM choices 1GB, 2 GB, or 4 GB.

There are four USB ports. 2 USB ports are 3.0 ports supporting simultaneous 5Gbps operations while the other 2 are  2.0 ports.

Like its predecessor, it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Bluetooth Low Energy and Gigabit Ethernet. You can plug two 4K displays with a 60Hz refresh rate thanks to the two micro-HDMI ports.

Additionally, it comes with other separate accessories which are: a case for Raspberry Pi, 27W USB-C Power Supply, and a Raspberry Pi Active Cooler.

Kenyan Raspberry Pi 5 Resellers

Raspberry Pi 5 is set to hit the market in October. Liquid Intelligent Technologies joins other authorized resellers in the Kenyan market. The other two are Mouser Electronics and IvyLiam Gadgets.

“Excited can now talk about my Raspberry Pi 5. Talk to Approved Reseller LiquidInTechKe to get yours” wrote Ben Roberts, Group Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at Liquid Intelligent.

Raspberry continues to partner with Kenyan-based companies as demand for tech hardware grows in the region. Gearbox Europlacer a local assembler of Raspberry Pi Pico Boards started exporting the devices to the rest of Africa,
