For the past two decades, we’ve gone to great lengths to keep you informed—a job we take seriously. But all work and no play makes Techweez a dull place, which is why we’re launching A Brainbox Quiz, a monthly trivia night designed to give you, our loyal reader, a chance to connect, have fun, and take life a little less seriously.
The first Thursday of every month will now be an evening of intellectual challenge, laughter, and networking as you flex your mental muscles across categories ranging from pop culture and entertainment to sports and general knowledge.
We’ve been connecting people through technology news and reviews for years. A Brainbox Quiz is our way of bringing that community together in person, creating connections that go beyond comment sections and the noisy world of social media.

While trivia forms the backbone of the event, A Brainbox Quiz will be more than just rapid-fire questions. Each month will feature specially designed rounds that encourage teamwork, creative thinking, and some good-spirited friendly competition.
A Brainbox Quiz will debut at Amazonia Bistro, conveniently located at the junction of James Gichuru Road and Gitanga Road. The inaugural event kicks off Thursday, March 6, at 7:00 PM, with an entry fee of 500 bob per person.
You can get your tickets here, but be sure to book your spot early as space is limited.
So, whether you know the difference between RAM and ROM or still think Pluto is a planet, there’s a spot for you at A Brainbox Quiz. After all, just like all great things in life, it’s all about having a good time.
And remember, the only thing better than knowing all the answers is meeting someone who knows the ones you don’t. See you on Thursday!
