Samsung has inadvertently revealed the pricing for its upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, a sleek addition to its flagship lineup.
The leak occurred on Samsung Canada’s website, where the 256GB model was listed at CAD 1,678 (approximately KES 165,000), and the 512GB variant at CAD 1,858 (around KES 173,000).
This pricing positions the S25 Edge between the Galaxy S25+ and the S25 Ultra, aligning with earlier speculations about its market placement.
These prices appeared in a Terms and Conditions page about discounts for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE tablets on the French version of the Samsung Canada website.
The Galaxy S25 Edge was listed as an eligible smartphone that users can purchase to get 20% off the original price of the tablet. The listing included the phone’s serial number and colours, confirming that it was indeed a mistake on Samsung’s side and not a copy/paste issue.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is notable for its ultra-slim design, measuring just 5.84mm in thickness and weighing 162 grams. It features a 6.6-inch display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a dual-camera setup with a 200MP main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.
The device is expected to come in three colour options: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue.
Samsung is anticipated to officially unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13, with sales commencing on May 30. The initial release is expected to be limited to 40,000 units, with production ramping up in the subsequent weeks.
This leak provides valuable insight into Samsung’s pricing strategy for the Galaxy S25 Edge, indicating its position as a premium, yet more affordable alternative to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
