You might wanna read this if you fly emirates. The airlines has launched a Business reward loyalty scheme for small and medium businesses. Small and Medium Enterprises make a hugely important contribution to the Kenyan economy. Many people who run or work for SMEs are frequent air travellers, either servicing the markets they support or looking for new business. The Business Rewards scheme provides an opportunity for small and medium sized companies to offer their staff attractive travel incentives without having to spend any extra dollars.
An online-based programme, Business Rewards offers SMEs the opportunity to benefit from the flights their employees make. The program is self-managed by the Business Rewards account administrator on Emirates.com, allowing 24/7 access to Emirates’ reservation system.
Under the scheme, for every US$1 spent on travel with Emirates and booked via Business Rewards, the organisation is awarded two Business Rewards miles, which can be redeemed for free flights on Emirates services worldwide. The organisation will need to register with Business Rewards, but it can accumulate Miles for travel undertaken by employees at any of its locations into one central account. While the organization’s loyalty is rewarded with Business Rewards miles, the individual traveller continues to earn Skywards Miles.
First launched in the United Arab Emirates in 2008, Business Rewards has rolled out across Emirates’ network and is now available in 55 countries across the globe. Over the past year, the programme has grown from strength to strength, registering more 14,000 accounts across the world, with firms in 100 countries taking advantage of its broad range of benefits.
