Well MK News reports that Samsung will start mass producing flexible AMOLED displays starting November this year. Samsung is in the process of selecting the materials supplier. MK News claims that flexible displays will be pushed on the already announced but advanced version of the 5.5 inch Samsung Galaxy Note II. MK says these details were relayed by an Samsung Vice President at the Information Display Exhibition and Conference. He added that previously Samsung has already produced 5.6 inch OLED displays in year 2009 and later a 4.5 inch in 2010 November.
Looks like it’s time to go commercial. While we are at it, we are still waiting on when they find it okay to release transparent displays.
