Blackberry announced earlier that BBM will be going beyond the black fruity OS and into Android and iOS. Blackberry messenger for other platforms is almost complete as Blackberry has since invited BETA testers for the Android app. The iOS version is also on the way. Android users have been invited to join and install the BETA version and test the app. Minimum requirements will be Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean guys too will have ability to install the app.
Once users get the invitation email, they are required to create a Blackberry ID with the email used to invite them. They will then create a Beta zone account linked to the BlackBerry ID and the program will be available under Eligible Programs, same place it will be found when it gets out of BETA.
Hands up if you will be on BBM as soon as it goes official!
