A fan of the birds and the pigs that have graced our smartphone and tablet screens for the last few years? I personally enjoyed (and keep on enjoying) playing Angry Birds Star Wars since it first came out a year ago. I keep on alternating between Angry Birds Space and Star Wars to avoid monotony. I won’t have to do that anymore. Angy Birds Star Wars 2 is coming out on September 19th.
According to Rovio, the popular game app will cost $0.99 and will be available on all the three major mobile platforms (Android, iOS and Windows Phone). It will also be available to amazon devices (which run a heavily forked version of Android).
What will be different about version 2 of Angry Birds Star Wars? You get to join the “pork side” for the first time ever. We got to hear the pigs side of the story with Bad Piggies but it is the sequel of the latest Angry Birds that should really give us an option to use the pigs as slingshots instead of the usual angry birds.
