As you may be well aware the UK government recently approved the Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3 and the new Galaxy S5 for use thanks to the said devices packing Knox, Samsung’s enterprise-level security software. A year after the Pentagon approved Samsung’s 2013 flagship device, the Galaxy S4, for use thanks to Knox, the US Department of Defence has given Samsung’s security software its biggest vote of confidence yet by certifying several devices for use in its installations and operations based on the strength of its extensive internal evaluation of Knox.

Versions of the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy Note 3, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, and the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition running Android 4.4 KitKat and with Knox preloaded have all been included in the Defence Information System Agency (DISA) list that profiles devices considered safe to use in the Defence department’s non-classified operations should need arise.
