Huawei is expected to unveil a new smartphone that will be the successor of the current Ascend Mate 7. May had expected it to be named the Mate 8 but from the tweets posted by several Huawei managers, that may not really be the case. It could be the Huawei Mate 7S as well.

An S in the model name is mainly used to mean a slight iteration of an existing product and that may be what the Mate 7S will really be: just a slight update of the already impressive Mate 7. Or may be not. We’ll get to find out soon. As IFA 2015 draws closer, we expect to get a little bit more about the upcoming device from the rumour mill, renowned leakers and even the usual teasing from Huawei itself.
