Banking apps have been around for some time, and it is unlikely your financial institution of choice does not have one, or a way to get access to your account details via an internet connection.
One of the most popular banking apps is Finserve-made Eazzy App, which, as we have highlighted in previous posts, has a fair share of useful features, including free access to some Pay Bill services such as KPLC tokens.
However, if you keep tabs with the bank’s social media profiles, or use the app consistently like yours truly, you may have noticed that some people are complaining they cannot register or activate the app to access their account details. I thought it was an isolated case until I switched phones. I have not been able to log in for about three days now.
A quick chat with the Equity team has revealed that the app is undergoing some form of maintenance. At the same time, the team has not specified when services will be online.
“Eazzy Banking app registration is currently unavailable due to ongoing maintenance. Our team is working to have the issue resolved. Kindly consider accessing the account via other channels such as Equitel, ATM card or Eazzy Net as we address the issue with the app activation,” reads a message from the bank.
Of course, you can get access to most of the services offered by the app via Equitel STK, but many people do not have those numbers. Either way, we hope the matter will be resolved in a timely manner.
