Vivo v17 Pro Kenya

Vivo v17 Pro Kenya

Vivo takes a lot of pride in being first in terms of smartphone innovation with regards to hardware.

vivo also now wants to stay ahead of the game in terms of software.

vivo V20 was the first device to launch with Android 11 out of the box a few hours ahead of Google’s Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G launch late last year.

Google and OnePlus devices are the devices that launch with the latest Android version later in the year.

Locally, vivo was the first company to launch a new device with Android 11 already baked in – vivo V20 was launched in early January in Kenya.

vivo V20 also comes packed with FuntouchOS 11 and other features including a 44MP selfie camera, 64MP main rear camera, 6.44″ Super AMOLED screen Snapdragon 720G chip and 8GB RAM, 4000mAh battery and 33W fast charging.

If you are still using an older vivo device- worry not as the company will be rolling out Android 11 and FuntouchOS 11 to you.

vivo V19

vivo V19 will soon be getting updated to FuntouchOS 11 and Android 11 either later this month or early next month.

we’ve already reviewed the vivo V19 and it’s an impressive midrange smartphone featuring 6.44″ Super AMOLED screen, 32MP wide & 8MP ultra-wide selfie cameras, 48 MP wide, 8 MP ultra-wide, 2MP Macro & 2MP depth sensor, 8GB RAM and Snapdragon 712 processor and 33W fast charging.

Vivo V19 is an absolute waterfall of checkmarks for a midrange.

• Slick design
• Gorgeous SUPER AMOLED screen
• Functional multi-camera system
• Sufficient RAM & storage that offer superb performance

This synergy shouldn’t be underestimated.

vivo V17 Pro

vivo V17 Pro is also slated to get updated to FuntouchOS 11 and Android 11 in late March this year.

Vivo V17 Pro delivers refinement and efficiency instead of gimmicks and gaudiness. It has a slick design, gorgeous SUPER AMOLED screen, functional multi-camera system, sufficient RAM and storage that offer superb performance.

You get an experience that leaves very little to be desired making it an excellent everyday companion.

Vivo V17 Pro brings slick design, gorgeous SUPER AMOLED screen, functional multi-camera system, sufficient RAM & storage that offer superb performance – an absolute waterfall of checkmarks for a midrange device.

What about OriginOS

OriginOS is vivo’s new Android skin that will soon replace FuntouchOS in thenear future.

It’s unknown when the company will begin rolling it out to its devices.

However, vivo X60 and vivo X60 Pro are the only devices we know that are running Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0.
