Twitter App

Twitter doesn’t want you to leave its app. The tech giant has been bringing and testing new features to its app and the latest one the company is working on focuses on Fleets.

Fleets is a feature Twitter launched late last year as a cloned version of Stories and stays on top of your timeline for quick viewing just like how it’s presented in other platforms like Instagram.

Twitter is testing showing fleets from people you don’t follow on the platform.

According to multiple reports on Twitter, the new Fleets design from non-followers have a grey lightning bolt to differentiate themselves from your regular Fleets from people you follow.

This is interesting as Twitter began testing bringing ads to Fleets and the Fleets viewed by more people could entice advertisers.
