Fleets are the most exciting and here are some of the best reactions:

I swear social media companies are a bunch of four-year olds playing soccer, all running after the same ball without any plan

— @hayesbrown.bsky.social (@HayesBrown) November 17, 2020

if instagram stories are screenshots of tweets will fleets be screenshots of ig stories that are screenshots of tweets

If you fleet I will unfollow you

— Aviva Loeb (@avivaloeb) November 17, 2020

— Madison Hall (@byMadisonHall) November 17, 2020

Fleets were announced and we dragged the name last year. I must live in a different universe 🧐🧐

— Jasmyn (@JasmynBeKnowing) November 17, 2020

Giving it a yellow background isn't going to help hide the fact that you reinvented Snapchat. https://t.co/n0hFDMk8Sp

— Aram Zucker-Scharff | @[email protected] (@Chronotope) November 17, 2020

literally every fleet i’ve seen is just some variation of “what in the hell is a fleet”

— jonny sun (@jonnysun) November 17, 2020

Funny that Twitter got disappearing stories after LinkedIn

Pretty sure fleets will be the downfall of msm

— Ben Goggin (@BenjaminGoggin) November 17, 2020

Twitter wants to be Instagram (fleets/stories)
Instagram wants to be TikTok (Reels redesign)
TikTok wants to be, uh, not banned
Facebook wants to be Reddit (Groups/subs)
Substack wants to be Medium (Medium wants to be whatever it wasn't 18 months ago)
what else?

— Katie Notopoulos (@katienotopoulos) November 17, 2020

Snapchat may be everyone's least favorite/forgotten platform but it really was the blueprint

— Kat Tenbarge (@kattenbarge) November 17, 2020
