The nationwide curfew in Kenya has been lifted. President Uhuru Kenyatta has lifted the dusk-to-dawn curfew which was in effect since last year March and was among the measures imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.

He made the announcement during today’s 58th Mashujaa Day celebrations at Wang’uru Stadium in Kirinyaga County.

“I hereby order and direct the nationwide dusk-dawn curfew to be vacated with immediate effect,” he said as crowds responded with cheer to the announcement.

He made other announcements but lifting the curfew has made a lot of people happy and here are the best reactions.

So all this time what was needed was one trip to Kirinyaga County.
