Infinix Note 12 VIP

Infinix Note 12 series is the company’s latest mid-range smartphone lineup in the country. The company is bringing three versions that include the regular Infinix Note 12, the Infinix Note 12(G96) and the Infinix Note 12(VIP).

The Infinix Note 12 series succeed the Infinix Note 11 series from late last year.

All of them will ship with 6.7″ FHD+ AMOLED screens. Only the VIP version has a high refresh rate at 120Hz and 360Hz touch sampling rate screen.

The VIP version has a 10-bit panel with 100% DCI-P3 coverage.

The base model is powered by the Helio G88 chipset will the two use the Helio G96 processor but with different tweaks.

The VIP version has 9 layers of graphene cooling and a vapour chamber while the G96 version lacks the vapour chamber and has 10 layers of graphene cooling.

Infinix picked a 50MP triple camera setup for the base model and the G96 version which also has a 2MP depth sensor and an additional VGA camera.

A 108MP triple setup is present on the VIP version. Infinix added a 13MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth camera and Laser Detection Auto Focus.

Infinix stuck with the same lens for the selfie cameras – a 13MP front-facing camera.

The Infinix Note 12 Series ships with Android 12 and XOS 10.6 straight out of the box. They have 8GB of RAM and 5GB of virtual RAM.

The two base models have 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The rumored 120W HyperCharge fast charging is dedicated for the VIP version that also has a 4500mAh battery.

You can juice up the VIP version from empty to full in 21 minutes. The charging is TÜV Rheinland safety certified and Infinix added 103 protection features to ensure safe charging. These features are on the charging brick and in the phone that has 18 temperature sensors.

The phones are slim with the regular Note 12 and the G96 version sitting at 7.8mm thick while the VIP version sits at 7.89mm thick.

Infinix added dual speakers with DTS Audio for all the devices in the Note 12 lineup and the VIP version ships with a dual X-axis linear motor for better haptics.
