Infinix Hot 30 33W Fast Type-C charging

Infinix is planning to unveil the Hot 30 in its new HOT 30 series which is an entry-level lineup focusing on the youth.

Like the Hot 30i, we also get a HD screen at 6.78″featuring 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display is slightly interrupted by a punch-hole cutout that houses the 8MP selfie camera.

The Infinix Hot 30 is powered by a Helio G88 chipset and like its smaller sibling, we also get 16GB of RAM which is 8GB onboard and 8GB virtual. For storage, we get 128GB and the option to expand with up to 1TB external microSD card.

Hot 30 comes with Android 123 and XOS 12 straight out of the box.

Camera setup is just like its sibling. We have a 50Mp main with VGA camera and an 8MP selfie camera.

Hot 30 is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports for 33W fast Type-C charging.

We get a side-mounted fingerprint reader and headphone jack as well.

Colour options range from Sonic White, Surfing Green and Racing Black.

The Hot 30 will be sold at the company’s retail stores countrywide and online too at XPARK – their official online store.

It will be launched this coming Friday(April 7th) at KICC. Artists popular with Gen z including Sylvia Saru, Ndovu Kuu, and Boutross are expected to perform.

Infinix has partnered with Blaze by Safaricom, OnFon Mobile and Fanta for the launch.

#MuHOAT Dance Challenge

Ahead of the launch, Infinix invited University students from across the country with the #MuHOAT Dance challenge that will have top 3 finalists win a cash prize at the launch on 7th April.
