Infinix is set to launch the new entry-level device in the Hot series – the Infinix Hot 30. The Hot line is the company’s most affordable series and we’ll be getting an upgraded version later next week in the country.
The Hot 30 has a 6.78 HD+ screen which is now brighter at 550 nits. Infinix is also adding 90Hz refresh rate to the Hot 30. The smartphone will also have 180Hz refresh rate.
The processor gets upgraded to the Helio G88 from the Helio G85. Compared to the predecessor, the Helio G88 will be faster and Infinix ships the phone with 8GB of onboard RAM and an additional 8GB virtual RAM thanks to Infinix MemFusion technology.
You have 128GB onboard storage and you can add external storage with a microSD card of up to 1TB.

Infinix packs the Hot 30 with Android 12 and XOS 12.
We get an 8MP selfie camera, a 50MP main, and a VGA camera at the back for optics.
Infinix Hot 30 ships with a 5000mAh battery and 33W Type-C charging port.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The Hot 30 will come in various colours including Sonic White, Surfing Green and Racing Black.
The Hot 30 will be a dual 4G sim smartphone.
They’ll be available at the company’s retail stores countrywide and online too at XPARK – their official online store.
Infinix will be launching the Hot 30 on 7th April at KICC and will feature performances by artists including Sylvia Saru, Ndovu Kuu, and Boutross.
Infinix has partnered with Blaze by Safaricom, OnFon Mobile and Fanta for the launch.
