The Infinix Hot 30 series is gaining a new member – the Infinix Hot 30 5G, which has just been announced. The 5G variant joins the Hot 30i, Hot 30 Play and Hot 30.
Infinix Hot 30 5G ships with Dimensity 6020 processor announced early this year. This processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. You also have up to 8GB of Virtual RAM. You can expand the storage with an external microSD card.

Hot 30 and Hot 30 Play came with Helioi G88 and Helio G37 respectively. They share the same RAM and storage options.
XOS 13 and Android 13 run the phone. Both are the latest software from Infnix and Google respectively. Its other siblings come with XOS 12.6.
The front sports a 6.78-inch LCD screen rocking 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Hot 30 and Hot 30 Play have a 90Hz refresh rate.
Cameras remain the same – a 50MP main and an AI lens.
Infinix Hot 30 5G some with a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast Type-C charging. It also has IP53 rating.
Colour options are between Knight Black and Aurora Blue.
5G adoption in the country has been growing especially from Kenya’s two largest networks. Safaricom’s 5G network is already available in 21 counties while Airtel’s just launched 5G network is accessible in 16 counties.
