Infinix has launched the Hot 30i in the country. This is the entry-level device in the Hot 30 lineup and succeeds the Hot 20i from last year.
The Hot 30i has a 6.6 HD+ screen which is now brighter at 550 nits compared to 500 nits from the Hot 20i. Infinix is also adding 90Hz refresh rate to the Hot 30i. The smartphone will also have a 180Hz refresh rate.
Infinix Hot 20i had a Helio G25 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. Its successor, the Hot 30i, has Helio G37 processor coupled with 16GB RAM and 128GB storage. You get 8GB of onboard RAM and 8GB virtual RAM which is an upgrade over the 3GB of virtual RAM the Hot 20i.
You have the option to expand storage with external microSD up to 1TB.
The Hot 30i comes with Android 12 with XOS 12 UI.
For cameras, you get a 5MP selfie camera and a 50MP dual main camera at the back.
Hot 30i is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports 10W Type-C charging.
The HOt 30i has a diamond pattern plastic finish and comes in various colours including Glacier Blue or Mirror Black. There’s also a version with a leather design. You also get a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The Hot 30i is a dual 4G sim card smartphone.
