Infinix has four tiers of its smartphones which cater to different consumers – we have the entry-level Smart and Hot series, the midrange Note series and the flagship Zero series. They’re now venturing into the gaming smartphones series with the launch of the Infinix GT 10 series – G10 Pro+ and G10 Pro.
Infinix GT 10 series features a semi-translucent back design called Cyber Mecha design. This design will also feature a photo-chromatic design. This design allows the phone to change its back colour when outdoors.
The translucent design is similar to Nothing’s but the LED strips are next to the camera island which will be used for notification alerts and more.
They’ll have headphone jacks and JBL-tuned dual speakers.
The display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and brightness peaking at 900 nits.
Infinix Note 30 Pro Review: A Showcase for Infinix
The series will ship with Android 13 and XOS 13.1 upgradeable to one major Android version upgrade and two years of security updates. Infinix says that consumers should expect an ad-free OS – it is unknown if this means we’ll see a bloat-free XOS – either way this will be a welcome feature.
MediaTek’s top chipsets power both phones – we get Dimensity 1300 and Dimensity 8050 for the GT 10 Pro and Pro+ respectively. It’s worth noting that the Note 30 VIP uses Dimensity 8050 as well and its performance is unbeatable(our full review will be up very soon).
The Dimensity 1300 is also a very capable chipset and it is no wonder Infinix is calling the new GT 10 series the “most powerful machines we’ve ever made” according to the company’s marketing materials.
The processors come paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. XOS 13 adds up to 9GB of Virtual RAM.
For cameras, they’ll have a triple setup headlined by a 108MP main camera and two 8MP cameras.
A 32MP front-facing camera will cater to selfies.
Powering the phones will be a 5000mAh battery that supports 68W fast wired Type-C charging and 50W wireless charging thanks to the company’s new All-Round FastCharge technology which supports PD 3.0.
The Infinix GT 10 Pro series is scheduled to launch later next month.
