Sam Cox, known as Mr Doodle, has partnered with TECNO for their Camon 20 Pro 5G Doodle Edition. The company has launched the phone in the country.

TECNO likes releasing special smartphone editions, especially the Camon lineup. The company works with various institutions and artists to make their midrange phones more fashionable.

The latest device to get the treatment is the TECNO Camon 20 Pro 5G Mr Doodle Edition. The Camon 20 Pro 5G was launched a few months ago and now we have a a more unique version.

UK-based artist Sam Cox was tapped to make this version. He is known for his Doodle graffiti art that now appears on the back of the Camon 20 Pro 5G. Like the previous Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition, the Doodle Edition uses UV Light absorbed during the day and releases it as fluorescence at night. The glow showcases Mr. Doodle’s graffiti work.

Mr Doodle is an internet sensation and has worked with global brands like Fendi and Adidas.

TECNO used moon phase colour-changing technology on the phone which allows the back cover to refract light from its diamond-like surface in a dark environment, to show the graffiti painting in the dark.

It’s not just on the outside, TECNO incorporated Mr. Doodle style inside the phone with UI elements ranging from a customized wallpaper, AR Shot and Alwsy-On-Display.

Everything on the phone stays the same as the regular Camon 20 Pro 5G.

It comes with a triple camera setup with a leading 64MP primary lens with sensor-shift OIS and support for ultra-steady video, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. It shooks 4K video

A 32MP selfie camera dots the front and it shoots 2K video.

The display is a 6.67″ AMOLED screen rocking a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate.

Under the hood is a Dimensity 8050 5G chipset and 8GB RAM onboard and 8GB Virtual with storage starting from 256GB.

It comes with Android 13 and HiOS 13 straight out of the box.

It also has a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

The Camon 20 Pro 5G Mr Doodle Edition will be available from 20th September at select TECNO’s official retail stores countrywide including its flagship store at Sarit Centre.
