Industry rumours indicate that Samsung will release its next flagship model earlier than usual. In a bid to counter Apple’s iPhone 15, the Galaxy S24 series will be unveiled in January next year. Usually, Samsung’s official launches happen in February.
The Galaxy S24 which is said to have some design changes is now set to be launched on the third week of next year. Tipsters have stated that the Unpacked event will be hosted in San Francisco with the date of launch the 17th. Due to time diiference it will be the 18th for some people in the world. In order to achieve the early launch, Samsung has also begun mass production of the devices earlier.
Samsung has gone the same route as Apple in a way. Reports confirm that the S24 Ultra will have a titanium frame. The S24 Plus and the S24 Ultra will have the same M13 OLED 2K screen and a narrow 1.5mm bezel on all four sides.
2024 will have the USA host two Samsung launch events. After, the Galaxy series launch, the phone maker is set to launch its new Galaxy Z Fold and Flip phones in the country.
Exynos Overheating History
The CEO of Qualcomm has officially confirmed that there will indeed be Galaxy S24 models powered by Exynos processors. It is anticipated that the S24 and S24 Plus will utilize either Exynos or Snapdragon chips, depending on the region. The S24 Ultra is exclusively set to employ the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. North American clients for the S24 model will also get the Snapdragon chipset only.
Past users of the Galaxy S22 models that were powered by Exynos experienced overheating issues. It is hoped by Samsung diehards and Smartphone enthusiasts that the Korean manufacturer has resolved the issue. No Galaxy S23 model was shipped with the Exynos as Samsung went back to the drawing board.
