Itel has today announced their latest flagship for 2024 – the itel S24. The itel S24 is a refresh of the flagship S line and succeeds the itel S23 and S23+ smartphones from last year.
Itel S24 comes in a slim profile and weighs at 193g. It comes in multiple colours including Starry Black, Coastline Blue and Dawn White.
At the front is a 6.7-inch LCD HD+ screen sporting 720p resolution, 500 nots peak brightness and 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood of the itel S24 is the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It ships with Android 13 and itelOS 13.
For photography, the phone comes with an 8MP selfie camera and a 108MP main camera at the back. Video recording is capped at 1080p 30fps. The rear primary camera is complemented by a depth sensor.
Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast Type-C charging that can juice up the phone to 50% in 40 minutes according to itel. The phone also supports bypass charging and AI smart charge. These features increase battery longevity and decrease overheating when gaming or watching videos.
Other features that the phone has is a sidemounted fingerprint reader, dual SIM slot, bottom facing speakers featuring DTS sound, dual front facing flashlights, headphone jack.
