Xiaomi has today announced the launch of the Redmi 13, a new budget-level smartphone in the Kenyan market.
The Redmi 13 most outstanding feature is the rear camera setup that packs a 108MP main shooter paired with a 2MP macro sensor. The whole back cover is made of 8.3mm thick glass designed to be stylish and reliable enough upon impact.
As for the visuals, the device has a 6.79-inch Corning Gorilla Glass display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset, running on Android 14 straight out of the box with Xiaomi’s HyperOS skin on top. As for memory and storage, the Redmi 13 comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM options and 128GB and 256GB storage options.
A 5,030mAh battery is packed into the device with 33W charging support. Other outstanding features include a side fingerprint scanner and infrared remote control.

The Redmi 13 is currently available in select Xiaomi stores in three colour options; Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Sandy Gold. As for the pricing, the phone is available in three variants:
