Where Will It Be Used?
Rather than selling the chip directly, Google is weaving Ironwood into its cloud backbone. It will power Google Cloud services and serve as the foundation for training and deploying its powerful Gemini AI models.
The chip will be made available to Google Cloud customers later in 2025. Particularly through Vertex AI, where enterprises can build, train, and scale their AI solutions using this cutting-edge infrastructure.
