APC by Schneider Electric, has announced the appointment of Avedi Evans as a field services engineer in Kenya, servicing and maintaining the health of APC solutions currently running in the country. To achieve this task, Evans has undergone specialised uninterruptible power supply (UPS) training in France.
In the world of business today, ensuring that all IT systems are online is critical to the success of all enterprises, in any region, says Jonathan Duncan, director for the Central and North East Africa region at APC by Schneider Electric.
“Where APC solutions are specifically concerned, an extended outage can cost a company tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost productivity,” he adds. “APC’s On Site Repair Services have been designed to get our customers the help they need on location in order to bring their businesses back up and running in a time frame that is compatible with their business requirements.”
APC’s field service engineers are trained to isolate and correct its customer’s issues in as little time as possible, minimising downtime. The On Site Repair Service is available in various response times and APC offers the flexibility need to fit differing business needs and budgets.
“APC’s field service engineers are consistently trained in new technologies and customer service approaches,” says Duncan. “APC anticipates that, by providing its customers with a full measure of skilled technical support and customer service, it will improve its overall levels of satisfaction and loyalty.”
APC customers operating in the region are invited to contact the company for more information or to sign up for one of its service offerings by calling the APC Customer Care Centre on 0861 272 877.
