The Samsung Galaxy mini would largely be called a success. It was a smartphone designed for the entry level consumer. On a local level(Kenya) one would easily note it as the the second most popular Android device after the subsidized Huawei Ideos U8150. That’s why I am not surprised by this leak of a Samsung Galaxy mini 2 GT-S6500 which is touted to be unveiled during the Mobile World Congress later in the month. The Galaxy Mini 2 will be code-named Jena and will be a little up on the price scale than the Galaxy mini, possibly placed somewhere between the Galaxy Y and Galaxy Ace.
It will feature a 3.3 inch HVGA TFT screen, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, an 800MHz processor, 3mp camera, 7.2 HSDPA, WI-FI, GPS and a 3GB internal-microSD support of upto 32GB.
