There was a very tiny gap between Android Ice Cream and Jelly Bean among device manufacturers. Just when they were able to puch in ICS into most of their devices, Jelly bean came out and again they were in the struggle to get them up to date. LG was one of them and has since announced the devices getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean butter.
First among them is the LG Optimus LTE 2 getting Jelly bean in November while the recently announced LG Optimus G, the current flagship device is getting buttered in December. From January we see the phablet series, Optimus Vu and Optimus Vu 2 getting buttered also. LG mentions updates specifically for South Korea as the region getting first dessert upgrade, without much mention of other regions. Also no mention of the “stylish” devices, the L series, L3, L5 and L7. Tough call, huh?
