The phablet market is officialy tickled and is bringing all sorts of devices from many quarters. ZTE also enters in style into thos fray with a 5 inch ZTE Nubia Z5, currently running under the sub brand of Nubia. ZTE Nubia Z5 is a 5 inch IPS smartphone with 192 x 1080 pixels display running on a 1.5GHz quadcore processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4. The memory is 2GB and has a whopping 32GB internal storage. The camera is also a beaury with 13mp rear, AF, flash and 2mp front. This device rund on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and it wighs 126 grams and is 7.6mm thick. The battery is a 2300mAh rocker and it features NFC connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0.
The build of this phone is aluminium frame with rounded sides. The battery is unremovable and it has a 2.67mm bezel. The front has soft keys which are basically red dots and a circle at the centre for home button. Availability will be initially in China on January and there will be two versions, a CDMA and WCDMA. The global version will have LTE support, though there is no mention as to when this comes through. ZTE Nubia Z5 will be available in two colours, matte black and glossy white and will be priced at 3,456 yen($550).
